Course: Tableau Conference Session Browser
With Tableau Conference 2021 just around the corner we've got a special course looking at how we put together a dashboard in Tableau that allows you to browse TC21 sessions
With last years Tableau Conference being a fully virtual affair we were tasked with building out something in Tableau that allowed users to explore what sessions were available across the three days and sign up for the sessions that interested them.
Tableau are making their annual conference a virtual one again this year and it’s again available to anyone to join for free, in recognition of that we’re going to go through how we built the TC 2020 Session Browser and show you how to build one for TC 2021.
The techniques you’ll learn and practice in this lesson can also be applied to a variety of projects and are particularly useful if you want to add a listing, front door or menu to your visualisations that users can search and filter and then click through to a specific item whether that’s a web page or another dashboard/visualisation.
